How would you like to be in one of those hotel rooms with a swimming pool overhead?

There are pools on the roof in lots of places, like in Vegas and NY. It's fine, until there is a problem!

Yes, it's been YEARS since I was there, but we went there after a cruise a while ago, when we had several hours before our flight, back to the cold North! (...since we've been in Florida since 2006, I guess it's been even longer than I thought! ) Anyone know if the pool is still there??

The story said it was to be across the street from Sea Palace, which is that pink building down the beach from the Sonesta Great Bay.

Sunwing, in Canada, reps the Sonesta's ie Great Bay, Maho and Ocean Point. Wonder if building their own resort wil cause any blow back or maybe Sunwing is using a local "partner"
Too be fair, Sunwing already has their own hotels - Royalton and Memories, this won't be a 1st for Sunwing

I think not Carol, it's been quite a few years for me as well but I think they closed off the entire roof. It was a great place to have a few cocktails and a swim if time permitted.
