Do we need to bring current converters for a stay at Marys Boon?

You don't need a converter, but if you have a lot of devices, you may want to bring a surge protector, as the electricity on the island is sometimes unreliable. We purchased one that has usb outlets as well as standard electrical plugs. Check on Amazon. Ours is a Belkin product.

The Dutch Side uses standard US 110-130 volt 60Hz current with US standard plugs and outlets. (The French side, on the other hand, uses French standard 220-260 volt current with French standard outlets but uses 60 Hz instead of the European standard 50 Hz so that the two sides can share power during emergencies...it is very easy to change voltage with transformers but changing FREQUENCY is a b**ch! (Electrical engineering termonology))... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />

But, as others have said, bring a surge protected GFCI power strip to give you surge protection and more outlets for all your electronic toys' plugs...
