I noticed a round, pinkish float on the Club O webcam. At first, I thought it was just a blow up model, but it's still there this morning. Is that now permanent and anchored in the sand?

It's just something someone anchored out there. Doesn't belong to Club O and not permanent.

AS of two weeks ago there were two platforms in the water. Took a few days for them to attach the steps to the new one. Still a third one near water sports but never saw it used.

You are right. There are still 2 floats and a smaller one near Watersports. The one near Watersports is not usually used by people. There is a sign on it, but have no idea what it says. It doesn't have steps, at least I don't remember seeing steps. The OP is talking about a "blow up'" float (there are 2 right now in the water in front of Club O). One is red and white (appears pink on the webcam) & the other is blue & white. Both are just floats people brought with them to use on vacation.

It belongs to the group that is flying the two flags on the beach. Be there in two days. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

We just got back last night and it was in use yesterday. There are only two floats owned by club o and they are nice with ladders. The deck gets hot. It is a Trex type decking.

Yes, you are right, but the smaller float, by Watersports, is also a Club O float. I live here, so am on Club O beach nearly everyday and see that the smaller one just isn't usually used by people, only the occasional kid or people using small boats & sometimes kayak users. The floats do get very hot. I usually throw some water on them before I get on. (if I'm alone).

Hey Jaybird, will be there tomorrow for two weeks. How can I tell who you are and I'll say hey when I see you.
