We are heading back down on July 6th, our first time back in 8 years. With the development of Scrub Island is Marina Cay a busy anchorage with boat traffic cutting through, or is it still a nice quiet spot? Thanks Boomer

I haven't noticed any change in traffic over the years since Scrub was developed.

We were there in May and the moorings all filled up by mid afternoon, but it was the day of the full moon party at Trellis (we attended and had a great time). Any other time appears to be fine.
The traffic thru was moderate. One suggestion is to grab a ball more in the middle of the mooring field or toward the north closer to Scrub. Our first night we were on the outside 'row' on the south end, and we rolled a fair amount from the wind and wave action. We moved our second night and it was much better...

We were just there on June 17. Still quiet, not a lot of boat traffic in channel behind Marina Cay. Scrub Island could ditch the searchlights shooting up into the sky though, those were a little obnoxious.

Agree on the rolling...we were there early June and experienced that as well...one of our more uncomfortable nights -- but we had a lovely time chilling on shore. Very nice.
