On Saturday we went to Big Fish and had a most delightful dinner. Teresa and Mike (owners) and their staff greeted us warmly. The food was delicious and service was excellent. They had a full house which is really something this time of year. They offered a 3 course menu @ $32.95 which I took advantage of. Lobster salad , ,Stuffed Dover Sole, and banana creme brûlée. All was perfect. My wife had Shrimp with a Curry Sauce. I recommend everyone should go there when in SXM. We drove from Beacon Hill to the restaurant in 30 minutes. It is well worth the ride and very attractive setting.

Hi. Thanks for the report! Any pictures, as I know you often take pictures!
On our recent trip, Pineapple Pete was full, Dreams was full both times we went, Bistrot Cariabes had maybe one empty table, but every other restaurant we went to was either virtually empty or only a few diners. I think it will be a very difficult off season for many restaurants.

I think the three you just mentioned have a large resident following, and are probably less impacted by off season than some of the others.

It was Maine Lobster claws and the salad was delicious. The stuffed Dover Sole was perfectly cooked and the Creme Brûlée was delightful.

It's awesome that Big Fish is thriving under the new ownership!!! A few years ago we tried Big Fish a couple of times and was disappointed but we heard great reports about the restaurant at OBBR this year and just didn't have time to try it but it's on the slate for next year!!! Nice having so many great choices close to OBBR!

They also have great sushi appetizers; I've made a meal of those as well!
