After ten yrs of being away from the BVI we will be returning to VG. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" /> I have not seen any recent comment on Air Sunshine as we are thinking of using them. Most recent was 2015. Right now their website is down. We are traveling from Utah and want to fly direct from SJU to shorten our travel time. I would like to hear the good bad news?

We fly them all the time and have had good service - we do make sure to book a flight at least 2 hours after our arrival time in SJU and this works well. cheers Brian

I also use them regularly and would not hesitate to use them again. They are a little funky but I always enjoy the trip. Sometimes arriving way before scheduled. Sometimes visiting another island on the way but they have always gotten me where I needed to be on time.

I would book when you have booked all your other flights. but call and check their availability then book your other flights and then promptly book Air Sunshine. Their prices are pretty fixed as is their schedule. The only thing you need to worry about is your connecting flights changing their schedule.

We usually book about 6 weeks ahead - For February you might want to do it even a bit earlier say mid December. cheers Brian

PL3, I have flown them probably 15+ times, and never been let down. More than I can say for the common carriers that I have flown with. How often did they let you down? I assume you speak from more than one experience? There isn't a airline in the world that doesn't have a hiccup on occasion.

They will place space on hold while you finalize your other flights.

Never again! I will spare you the details Re:air sometimes, but we've learned our lesson and will always choose Cape Air! SO much better! There's a new airline flying SJ to Beef now too. Can't think of the name?

For me - it was Air OneTime - as in, one time and never again. Vacations are for relaxing. Air OneTime was an anxiety nightmare, both ways. Flights were great. It's all the rest that is not worthwhile. YMMV.
Good travels, Shari

Thanks everyone after more research I booked with Cape Air celebrating 45 yrs of marriage and after overnight flight from Utah and 22 hrs. of travel wanted to have things go as smooth as possible. We are just so happy to finally get back to the BVI 2/17!
