yeah I know it was along time ago , but we had a really great time.
I wanted to get out a little report because I was so happy with the hotel we stayed at I wanted to let others know.

I got a great deal from sea/las two people , four nights, for 574$ tax included. It was such a good deal I thought we were really going to be dissapointed with the hotel, which was HOOTERS, the old SAN REMO, behind the TROPICANA.

It was absolutely the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in at a hotel anywhere. The rooms were clean, with nice little details of soaps shampoos etc left within fanned towels on the shower curtain for decoration. I thought it would be very loud being so close to the airport, but not at all. Even outside at the pool you hardly noticed it, thanks in large part I think ,to the waterfall going into the pool.
The pool was very nice, with 3 hot tubs, very nice lounge chairs and the best pina colada I had in Vegas. It was I swear, just like a pina colada slurpee from 7-11, but with yummy rum !

They have a very nice martini bar that ladies drink for free on wed. nights, and they had a good cover band.
Everyone was very nice, and the hotel is small enough that you can run back up to your room for your sunglasses or a book in just a few minutes instead of walking forever to get to your room like in the large hotels .We would totally stay there again.
We werent impressed much with our meals anywhere, but then we didnt eat out at high end places either.
Our best time gambling was at the Orleans where it felt like a whole different atmosphere. Actually it felt just like the river boat casinos I went to while in Louisianna years ago.No, I didnt win, but after I got up from the quarter machine, the lucky lady who sat down won 235$. Then the lady one seat away won as well. go figure.........

Okay well there ya have it. Hooters is a really good place to stay <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cool.gif" alt="" />
take care all-
