I can only relate from my Oct 2014 visit. No one we found including Club O, Papagayo, Perch, or Le Boutique would accept them and we were staying there. I can't answer about any other place. I wouldn't count on anyone accepting them if I were you. If someone had experiences where they were recently accepted, that policy might change by the time you get there
