Bill, we have always tagged our own chairs in the afternoon after we check in. Have never had the beach boys tag our chairs except when we were day guests.
Sorry to hear about the lady's bad experience. The reception/office staff are some of the most cheerful and helpful of all the cheerful and helpful Club O employees which is saying a lot.
However if I lost a towel or a key I would pay for them.
