The first rule on this island is never leave valuables unattended or out of sight. Learned that the hard way leaving a backpack in a locked rental at Orient to go back to take a bathroom break before I left. Gone in 60 seconds. Always assume someone is watching especially on a beach as deserted as Happy Bay. The surprising thing is that the wallet was still there.
