Have not seen details, but just given the time of the incident (late, but not that late), the location (just past public parking lot in the vicinity of Le Pressoir), and the fact it involved three men with guns, this is a very very very bad incident for the island generally. The Collectivitie knows this and I very much hope that they and the Prefet can and will respond with serious action, as opposed to PR blather.
Todd - that you look like a cop (to me anyway) may put you in a different category than those of us who look and are pretty vulnerable at this point in our lives.
