The Weather Channel is talking about the possibility of a blown seasonal forecast. At one time they were talking about Saharan Dust keeping storms from developing. Now they’re saying that the weather off of the Sahara is moving into the Atlantic farther north than usual, over cooler waters, which keeps storms from developing.

Bottom line to me - the experts may know a lot about tropical cyclones, but not as much as they think, and there’s a lot that they don’t know.
