Delta emailed us yesterday with two significant changes to our itinerary. We had booked outbound and inbound on different dates so we have two one way tickets. The outbound on 10/24 that was direct now connects in ATL departing at 6 am out of JFK. The inbound was changed yesterday twice. The first time it remained a direct but at 11:59 pm we received another email that our 11/7 flight was changed to connecting. Both flights are Saturday to Saturday (2 weeks). The inbound has a 3 hour plus layover and we get arrive at JFK at midnight.
What do you think the chances are that the flights would return to non stop? I'm asking because IF Delta refunds us and not issues a credit voucher for future travel we are considering switching to JetBlue who is offering direct.
