agree with Christo...wherever I am I just assume I am stand on vessel as most people driving boats have no idea what the rules are
Hmm.. that's the opposite of what I assume. I'd rather not play "chicken" with my own boat and as has been said earlier in this thread, in the case of a collision both captains are at fault. If I see a potential for a close situation with another sailboat I'll change course or tack as soon as possible so that the punters in the charter boat don't have to worry about anything
