So many wonderful places across the island but I have to agree with ruralcarrier with regard to Marks Place. On our November trip I had what I think were the best mussels I’ve ever had. They were incredibly good and the pot broth was out of this world and all at a very reasonable price, too.
With regard to your specific questions, yes, Mario’s is very good and add to that, I would highly recommend LeMoulinFou in Maho area for a very good dinner. Our favorite beach eats are Rosie’s for her dry rub ribs but if we want to step it up a bit we go to Friars Bay Beach Cafe and if we really want to step it up we go to Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant though we haven’t been back since they reopened.
If you haven’t seen St. Bart’s at least once it’s worth the effort but bring lots of money. Personally speaking, I prefer Saba because it’s so different from what we think of in a Caribbean Island.
They offer yoga on the beach at El Zafiro but I have no specific details. This is a nice beach to spend a day and they offer free chairs with lunch and drink service on the beach.
So little time and so many great places at which to dine and experience.
