Have you tried kindly asking AA for a rebooking extension and change fee waived beyond March 31 due to circumstances in Caribbean right now? Including an explanation that it is hard to rebook a vacation because there are so many uncertainties and unknowns right now such as, airport reopening to commercial traffic, ferry operations, power grid restoration, water management etc.
I am assuming you are chartering. Did your charter company cancel the charter?
