I may be misreading it, but it appears from this and every other source that I've read that the vaccine is only available to children from 9 to 16, those that live in affected areas, and have been previously infected. So I'm not aware of any vaccine available to adults.

"In May 2019, Dengvaxia was approved in the United States as the first vaccine approved for the prevention of dengue disease caused by all dengue virus serotypes (1, 2, 3 and 4) in people ages nine through 16 who have laboratory-confirmed previous dengue infection and who live in endemic areas.[17][6] Dengue is endemic in the US territories of American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.[17]"

Disappointing for sure, it seems like a workable vaccine could have been developed since this Dengue has been around a long time.

Aquatic seems to have less chance of being full if ever from what I have seen . My daughter landed at 4pm in St Thomas last trip, she did not advance book for the reasons George stated and I told her just to go straight to RH (Aquatic) and not take chances with CA ferries because it was relatively high season. Also it was easier to get her at West End.

What kind of a vacation are they looking for? If they aren't big drinkers, there's not much point to an AI on SXM. (IMHO) The Sonesta does have a nice pool, direct access to Maho beach and an easy walk to Mullet. So if they only have a few days, that might be a big plus for them. However with so many good restaurants in Maho now - let alone the rest of the island - it would seem a shame to limit your dining options to whatever the hotel is serving up for you. If they are looking for cruises and water sports, they might find something in Simpson Bay more convenient. If they are big drinkers on a limited budget without much time, the Sonesta might work well for them - outside of that, I think there are better options.

Actually, your best bet to get into central London from Heathrow is the new Elizabeth Line on the tube. A similar amount of time as the Heathrow Express, but with many very convenient stops. No need to buy tickets, just tap in and tap out with a contactless card in both directions. If you want to see some specific things, you can just take a regular bus (also tap in but no need to tap out) and sit upstairs. Here's a good bus map for central London: https://content.tfl.gov.uk/bus-route-maps/key-bus-routes-in-central-london.pdf

Alternatively, just go into London, choose a picturesque area, have a nice meal and a pint at a pub, and walk around a little. It would break up the trip! The Tottenham Court Road stop would be a good one for this--not too far from Covent Garden, Soho and the British Museum.

Last trip I saw a cat using the anchor bridal in CDB. I routinely see the one line method. I really hate that because even if they don’t break free over time it ruins the eye of the mooring pendant. It just doesn’t take that long to properly rig two lines.

The haze adds a lot of atmosphere, nice view!

I was joking about the untidy part. Although our boat is nearing phase-out, the stack pack was recently replaced, and with the velcro still in good shape I've been buttoning (velcroing) up and it makes the boat look so much better at anchor.

Thanks Matt!

I'd love to learn how you get your great drone shots!

I used to get annoyed by the little birds at Setting Point that hunt for scraps and foul the deck.
Now, I'm like "Behold! the Ruddy Turnstone!"

Also, for years I've seen those weird upside down jellyfish in the mangrove shallows of Biras Creek.
I loved finding out they carry the awesomely celestial scientific name of Cassiopea andromeda.

Again, as I recall - and clearly my memory isn't great - Bell's cabin was right next to the restaurant and I thought it was kinda orange in colour?

Bell's cottage is right next to the restaurant, and it is now blue in color.

If you want close to the beach and views, you really should consider Ann's Beach House. I just now took these photos of it with my drone.

I timed things badly a little over a month ago at JVD and it took several hours. It was mostly day boats that had things backed up, you never know!

HI, we stayed at Orient for 3 wks this year starting late March.
The beach road is OK to drive.
The back road into Orient is not great but has been worse. We took it one day and that was enough.
Note the big tour buses come in the back way on their way to Bikini as do the various gator tours.

Bahston--Do you not buy other travel insurance also? Or just buy it when you go out of the country? We don't travel that much, other than outside the country, where our medical insurance only covers 80%, so we always buy comprehensive, which covers trip cancellation, interrruption, medical and medical evac.

One silver lining(s) to combat the restaurant prices are the "modern galley changes" on the boat. 'I remember the old days" when the fridge/freezer (ice box) was just a ball of ice forming around piece of metal in the freezer/ice box. Turned it on for an hour at a time > keep your frozen items down deep in the freezer (didn't work) and your "keep refrigerated food" toward the top of the freezer (didn't work). Oh yeah, and your meat thawed > blood everywhere in the bottom of the ice box.

These days > AC temp controlled galley, microwave, real propane stove, real fridge-freezer and a modern grocery store at which to shop.

One of the crew brought a blender and Daiquiri mix > threw the finished produce in a small ice chest > went to the beach and made friends everywhere.
