I also posted this on the BVI forum. I've seen post's and other info that AA want's you to check in for your outgoing flight 3 hours ahead of departure. We are flying Delta this time and I haven't seen any such notice from them. Does anyone know if Delta want's you at STT airport 3 hour's early? We are on Virgin Gorda and flying out of STT on Wednesday afternoon, so this is sort of a ferry question...lol.

We fly Delta from MKE to STT several times a year. If not the weekend, 2 hours is plenty of time to arrive before your flight.

I saw your question in the bVI forum. Stt airport defies logic and probably has the least helpful airport personnel I have ever encountered. (We have been flying in and out of there for 20years).
2 hours should be fine for delta. I agree with the poster who mentioned the check-in cut off time, don't mess with that. A local I know says the desk agents are hardcore about that requirement.

Keep in mind that AA requires that you check in 3 hours before the flight but you can do that online. For boarding passes and bag check you only need to be there 90 minutes before the flight. But that means at the kiosk 90 minutes before the flight not at the end of the line.

Flew Delta out of STT yesterday at 1:40. 2 hours was plenty.

Weekends, especially Saturdays at STT are usually very crowded, slow and sometimes chaotic to say the least.
When in doubt get a porter to speed you through the line and then 2 hours is plenty. Without a porter, 3 hours might be necessary if it is crowded.
Good luck.

Good luck finding a seat on a Saturday. When we flew out in December there were hundreds of people standing due to the lack of seating.

Got to the airport at 1:45 for a 3PM Delta boarding yesterday with absolutely no problem and about 45 minutes to kill. NO customs form, used a porter and used the totally empty TSA Pre-Check line which saved a lot of time. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Groovin.gif" alt="" />
