Just found out that GPS maps for android and iphone are available at this site. BVI GPS Cost is about $20 to install the maps on your device.

I have Garmin BlueChart on my Iphone and Ipad. If I remember correctly it was about $45 and the updates are $30 a year if you want to update. I've used it to plan my upcoming trip. It's a great program that I use with my Garmin Chartplotter back home to upload waypoints and routes. I don't think moorings uses Garmin electronics, but it will be a plus if they do.

This is NOT a marine GPS but for road travel in the BVI. Turn by turn driving in the BVI

Hey thanks, that's great. Even though VG is nearly as simple as connecting two parking lots with one road, people are always concerned when going for the first time about driving and getting around. I always send an unlocked smart phone with a lime chip in it along with friends and family using our place. It has frequently used numbers on it. Have a good friend going down early June who was reticent to use our Jeep. Will get this on there and make them more comfortable. Thanks again Thorsten.

Tpcook, Whoops I didn't realize you meant for road travel. I'll take a look the app you mentioned. We're renting a car for a day of exploring on Virgin Gorda.
I had downloaded offline maps into Google Maps on my Iphone. I have a Bad Elf Bluetooth GPS that my Iphone can get gps signal from.

Honestly, it's pretty tough to get lost on Virgin Gorda.

If you get lost on Virgin Gorda, you should pull over, let someone else drive, and think about stopping drinking for the rest of the day.

I would get it if I knew it shows things like the trail from Ridge Road down to Shark Bay or if that little track just before the My Healthy windmill leads down to Hell Hole or the goat path from Loblolly across Soldier Point.
