Saturday morning and we're leisurely enjoying our second cuppa. No need to change rooms today which is always a blessing for random unit timeshare owners. Breezes still blowing and the skies looking vaguely like they did last year this time but then it was because of the Sahara sands which you could almost brush off your windshield every morning. This is just an overcast sky - but the kind to be doubly certain to use sunscreen often in - the kind you can really fry under.
I know we're gonna' do something today but why is it decisions become so hard to make on vacation? It will come to me, I'm sure.....or not!
Dinner is with friends tonight at Le Moulin Fou, one of my very favorite restaurants. Can't decide what I'm more excited about - seeing the friends or eating there again! Kidding, Lyn - just kidding! Honest!!
So dinner was excellent as was the service, and the company was OUTSTANDING!! A great end to an otherwise quiet but very pleasant day spent doing not much of anything at all.
And an FYI - the moon is just the other side of full and is absolutely beautiful. The breezes are still blowing and after an extremely hazy but basically rain free day, Saba is still MIA.

Thanks for another update. Sounds like a good day and evening. We enjoyed Le Moulin Fou when we dined there also.
Hope today is another good one.

It's long been one of our absolute favorite places both here and during the brief time they were at Porto Cupecoy, too. We shared a few apps and a bottle of wine. Three of us had rack of lamb and one of us had a fish selection and all were cooked to perfection. And then the profiteroles for dessert among other choices. And all finished with a bottle of flavored rum on the table. It was a perfect evening in every way. I think the dinner ran $150.00 per couple and so worth the price. Rarely do we turn dinner into an 'event, but this time it truly was. I think it was the company as much as the food.

"random time share unit owners" what does that mean and why do you have to change rooms?

Could be wrong........ but I took that as one who owns concurrent weeks in different Units at the same resort.

Still thinking about the Cajun sauce served with the Mahi,Mahi. Truly yummy, escargot, Camembert, all perfect. We even found a parking spot a few feet away!
I promise not to wear heels next time!
Great fun!

Ooh, they have baked camembert?? Sounds yummy, if I have people to share it with! I love the baked camembert at Dreams, but when we get that, I can hardly finish an entre, let alone a dessert! Do they have baked camembert at Anse Marcel Beach Club? If so, I might order that just by itself, no entre!

I'm so glad you enjoyed Le Moulin Fou Pat and Lyn. We loved our meal too. This is how popular this restaurant is. We sat beside a table of two couples from South America who were obviously well-to-do and very friendly. They told us they had just wrapped up a beautiful sailing trip that ended in Antigua. They loved Le Moulin Fou so much they convinced their friends to fly from Antigua to St. Maarten for the night just so they could go to the restaurant (I think they had the rack of lamb too, Pat!)and enjoy one last meal there before they had to fly back home.
Wow- and lucky them they had the funds to do it!

Sounds like another lovely day. Love Le Moulin Fou - was the noise from Cheri's tolerable? Did you eat inside or outside?

Thanks for the answer on "random time share". I thought Pat meant they had to move several times during their stay. As I understand now, Pat owns more than one week but not in the same unit.
I guess my confusion was because when we stay at Divi for more than one week it's always in the same unit.

Not sure Carol about the Camembert, I don't recall seeing it on the menu.
