This will be the 1st time for the whole family - me, wife and kids (19, 10) - to do a week long charter in June. I'm trying to decide between 3 yr old Lagoon 4 vs a new Helia 44. Any and all guidance or input appreciated.
I have charted both. Just MHO, I enjoyed the 450 over the 44. Even if I accounted for the age of the vessel, I would opt for the Lagoon. Just a better family boat. That being said, the Helia is great and you really cant make a "wrong" choice, but gun to my head....take the 450.
Just chartered a 2016 L450 for the first time last month and loved the flybridge. As stated above, you'll score an "A" on either decision, though! Where are you chartering from with either option?
spent a week on a 2016 Lagoon 450 last month.....7 adults , plenty of room. Loved the raised flybridge. What she lacked in handling she more than made up with in space and comfort!
