Hi all. I am hoping you folks can help me with insights for our cruise stops this November. St Kitts seems to have limited 'beach' days except on Frigate's Bay. Am thinking of taking a taxi to Carambola Beach Club to hang out and enjoy sun, soft sand, quiet water and drinks. Anyone been? Insights? I know there is a rental fee for chairs and umbrella - finding that is pretty typical. thanks!

Been there. Nice beach. Nice bar. Nothing really "special" about it, though. If you're looking for a beach to relax and hang out on for a while, it certainly works.
We took the scenic railway tour of St Kitts and enjoyed that quite a lot.

I can highly recommend a tour company, Thenford Grey Tours http://www.thenfordgreytours.com/. Mr. Grey is a local entrepeneur that maintains a modern fleet of vehicles and offers several excursions at reasonable prices. You cannot book through the ship. Secure your reservation through the website, there is no deposit required. Also, read the reviews of this company on Tripadvisor, all very positive. We did the "Grand Tour of St. Kitts" which was fun. They also offer beach days for around $25pp, which is very reasonable.
