Maybe to protect the screws as it might be deeper further out.

Seems to be exactly the same class of ship as was in last week, and I think it's at the same dock?? If so, it wouldn't be that.

It's totally up to the captain or the pilot. Much quicker to pull in forward.

Do the passengers walk off the boat out there and catch a cab or do they tender them into P'burg. It looks like a good distance from town. We went down to P'burg years ago and there was no ship in that day.

Many walk to town. Some take cabs and there is also a water taxi available. The other option is the organized tours available from the ship.

I thought I read here that SXM was no longer going to be a stop for Disney yet here's Fantasy pulling in. Maybe it's not coming in 2016?

I caught this cam just in time this morning as it panned toward Divi then went in and I could see the lanai on our unit! Awesome seeing the ship in the background and the units in front.

I have to laugh at myself because I am obsessed with this cam!!! But also because when my I excitedly showed this to my 17 yr old daughter, she just shook her head and said "You mean to tell me there are a 100 other people just sitting there staring at this too?" Yes. Yes we are. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

It's fun to watch a Disney ship depart. Their whistle plays, "When You Wish Upon a Star."

You can also see from the cams at the cities and countries from the list at the bottom of the web page. They are all the same quality.Just watched a hurricane go past Bermuda.

Yes, I'm totally addicted to this site and have been following the Bermuda action as well. Looks, at least via the webcam, they are getting clobbered. I was just on the Canaveral site which is close to my in-laws and they have a relief ship in. Brother in law says it's the nsnf Trenton.

SandyandBill you can drag your cursor over the shapes on the map just below the webcam and it tells you the name and cruising speed of the ship.

Weather looks a little cloudy on the port webcam this morning. Hopefully maybe some rain today?

And guess what? You guessed it. At the far eastern end of the bay there are people out in the water.
Which reminds me that a number of years ago we took the highway between Lake Louise and Jasper. The road was quite a tourist draw a there were glaciers that came right up to it. We stopped at the biggest one. There were about five Greyhound type busses. Just where the ice started there were signs in English and French telling people that walking on the glacier was extremely dangerous and therefore prohibited. Of course there were over a hundred people slipping a sliding all over the place out there. I thought, crazy nuts. Then they all came back armed with their Nikons. They all spoke Japanese and German. I thought, the signs are in the wrong languages.

What a great shot of the three Carnivals all lined up against the backdrop of the St. Maarten skies. Who let that Disney ship in? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /><img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
