The very best thing about this forum, for us, is the lifelong friends we met here.

Have to agree with GaKaye that the friends are the most amazing. Practically everyone we visit and travel with outside of our family friends we met in SXM. When people ask why we keep going back I say "go to same beach at he same time of year and you will see the same people". I have seen the world many times over but home away from home is + or minus 200 feet from the Perch. Secondary considerations are the simply amazing restaurants in every shape and form and the fact that it is easy to get to.
