This is an unusual time of year for us but was chosen to celebrate Lorraine's retirement last week. Everything is pretty much the same except for a few things:

Iguanas everywhere! Really cool creatures and they are sorta tame. They come up very close and stare at you waiting to be fed. I didn't do so and was rewarded with an iguana poop right at the patio. The doves are also tame. They might be pigeons, I don't know the difference but "doves" sounds so much nicer. One keeps landing on my table and struting around so I can appreciate his beauty but I think they are better off with bugs and seeds than what I have to offer.

We took the trouble to find some clothes and walk up to Orange Fever on Friday and had a lovely lunch. Today was Aloha and was fantastic. We kinda wanted to go to Kakao but felt we should visit our favorites on Ramshackle Row before they tear it all down next month.

Not much else going on here, just the usual. Run around naked, splash in the ocean, eat drink and be merry then dance the night away. The resort looks great and we got the best chalet we've ever had (thank you Jim And Mary Ruos, and thanks for the basket and card for Lorraine!).

Having a great time, and are a bit surprised at how many people we know here given that we never have been here in May.

Cheers!

You're killing me Brian! I've been thinking of you guys and glad to hear you're having a good time and celebrating Lorraine's retirement in style! Which unit did you get this time?
SXM is wonderful any time of year but we also love May (and November!!!). Please give Nancy an extra hug from us. We're going to miss her! And have fun dancing! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" />

We're in 51, it's really nice. Shine had a nice song for Nancy last night, she looked touched. We danced the night away and closed the place down. Again.

Lorraine is out front with her pastels. I'm on the couch recovering from a nice lunch at Perch, but it might be time to get up and find some refreshment. That beer in the fridge ain't gonna drink itself...

See you all in Nov!

Papayayo has music Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat. It's a ton of fun. David was last night and the floor was full. Some folks wear something at the beginning but by the end, not so much.

We've had a blast and met some great people but this is our last full day. Probably going to do about nothing but might walk up the beach for a fancy lunch. Or not.

David is my favorite! Enjoy your last blissfull day. I recommend Aloha for a great lunch...or not! I hope Lorraine was able to add to her beautiful pastel collection.

Looking forward to seeing you both this November. Have an extra glass of wine for us today, tonight or whenever you want. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />
