JetBlue mint blows United/Delta/AA first class out of the water!

Landed late due to fog in NYC so arrivals was a mess, 2 other planes before us.

Rancho del Sol was good and Yellow Sub the next day for lunch.

Jet Bue's Mint service is NICE. But do let us know if you manage to get out on time when you leave. The last 6? years, we have not managed to depart on time.

To me, I don't get the need for Mint for such a short flight. But I guess it is nice.

Carol,
For me, having Mint on Saturday means a much shorter line to check in. That alone makes it worth it to me. Well, that and the fact that I am not sitting on top of the person next to me.

Actually flying back on AA SXM-MIA-PHL (hate MIA but easier to end up in Philly).

No power or water issues at all on French side.

Glad you haven't had any issues with power or water. Although I could be wrong, I didn't think there were power issues on the French side, just water issues, from time to time.

Carol,
We used to fly AA and often took advantage of their Business/First but the last two AA premium flights we took were terrible and for a three and a half hour flight it just wasn’t worth the money IMHO.

With regard to JB Mint, it used to be offered only on select flights from JFK to SXM, on weekends only I think. The one time we did book Mint I wasn’t very impressed and thought it, again, was so very over priced for such a short flight. For a three hour plus morning flight we really didn’t need a bed-like seat.

We also felt somewhat conspicuous in those pod-like seats. And then we started flying midweek so it became a total non-issue.

Respectfully,

pat

Well Pat for our Grandson first year Birthday party in Toronto , I did AA Business class and had good steak and wine with my splash of cranberry juice Lol. Well at my age 66 , my Shirley decided , life's too short , hence , when we need to boogie off Island , just go for it . Sa la vie my Dear .

Anyways, the rate I got for JetBlue Mint was exceptionally low, doubt I would pay the list fare for the product. Was worth the price this time for sure.

Pat. Both our May trip and this one we flew AA FC/Business and they really upped their game from previous flights. Already booked for next May at a rate not too much more than economy.

I normally fly FC through Delta but the last two trips I’ve taken AA because they were significantly cheaper. I still like Delta better. AA has taken out their movie screens on some flights so I missed using my headphones. Service has been good and bad on both airlines.
