Hi! I visited Gwada a few years ago and spent an afternoon on Terre de Haut. I'm thinking of going back sometime this year - flying into PTP and ferrying over. I'm looking for comments and recommendations from people who have spent time there. Specifically restaurants - are there great ones? What about places to stay? I want a gites (sp?) - I like to cook our own breakfast. Also, is there a liquor store in town? I don't remember. Thanks!

We love Les Saintes but have only ever visited on our boat so can't help with accommodation.
Great restaurant... Ti Kas La. Chef Phillippe Dade is excellent and his menu contains some amazing dishes. Been many times but sadly not in the last two years.
Liquor store... It's France. Of course there is a liquor store <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
Have a great time, very envious.

It's been a while, but if La Saladerie is still there, it is wonderful for lunch or dinner!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/dine.gif" alt="" />

We were there in March. It is a very quaint island, loved it. We ate at Au Bon Vivre, food and hospitality was excellent. They have a website. www.aubonvivre.com
