At least you were checked. In May we were never asked for anything in SEA or CLT on our way to SXM.

Spoke to JetBlue rep this evening and stated a covid test is not required for international travel " St. Martin " only on return to US. Covid test for travel is required by what ever island requirements are being "St. Martin" and if ID NOW is accepted a gate agent of whom what ever airline you fly can not restrict entry to your destination. The JetBlue rep referred to the CDC several times during the conversation.
So for us it will be ID NOW and will expect to travel with no problems this coming Sunday with EHAS aprovall in hand. Have never understood why this has to be so complicated ?

"Spoke to JetBlue rep this evening and stated a covid test is not required for international travel " Incorrect. Not sure whether that was supposed to be you or the Jet Blue agent saying a covid test is not required, but regardless, either one is wrong.

They often give incorrect info. I’ve been the recipient of bad airline info on several occasions but this one is a beaut! Unless things have changed overnight, methinks this one did NOT know what she was talking about or possibly the OP didn’t understand what she was saying?

I had a JB rep tell me last week that my BASIC JET BLUE very inexpensive ticket did NOT include a carry-on but if I purchased one of the up-front seats along with the basic ticket, it did. It really didn’t matter to me one way or the other since I was pretty sure we were shipping a bag.
A day or two later the airline called me about a glitch with our credit card and as we resolved that, I asked about purchasing the extra room seats and what perks came with it. She explained it all to me and according to her we did NOT get a free carry-on, only a personal item that had to fit under the seat in front of me. No problem.
Today I read the paperwork that came along with my ticket info and it says I do get the free carry-on bag with the up-graded seat purchase. Thus, one more reason for me personally NOT to be dependent on their actual knowledge of the changes as they take place.
Good luck, laughingirish. I’m sure you will be fine as long as you check the SXM EHAS site and comply with all they have to say.
And let me add, if I implied you didn’t comprehend what she was saying, my point was they sometimes talk so fast with airline speak that it’s easy to not get what they’re actually trying to say. And sometimes they’re just plain WRONG,

Obisously you and Pat travel in the same disfuctional circle of what ifs. And yes the Towers will be brought back to that of the past. Good luck with your upcoming visits to SXM using the current testing requirements. As far as getting our Irish up we will be on vacation and where will youi be ? Opions are like ?

Below is directly from Jet Blue's website. I have attached a link at the end that will take you right to the info on their site. *** Blue Basic fares do not allow a carry-on bag if they were booked on or after 2/25/21 for travel 7/20/21 or later. Any carry-on bag brought to the gate (aside from a personal item that fits under the seat in front of you) will incur a fee and need to be checked. The fee is $65 (if it would be your 1st or 2nd checked bag) or $180 (if it’s your 3rd). The only exceptions are:Mosaic members (who get a carry-on bag and early boarding with all fares) Travelers to/from London (including connecting flights) Travelers that are combining a Blue Basic fare with an Even More® Space seat (on all legs, if connecting)Active U.S. military Unaccompanied minors Please note, of the above exceptions, only Blue Basic customers who purchase an Even More® Space seat (on all legs, if connecting) are guaranteed to get their carry-on bag on board. Exactly. Times are getting scary.
BTW, I didn't mean to offend or imply anything against you on the other thread. You had already posted that you jumped through all the hoops. My comment was a general response and not specific to you.

Since this has gone from testing to luggage, I am going to lock it and a new thread on either topic can be started. Thank you.
