Looks kind of Mediterranean to me? PS - I was going to ask why a 747 would ever be on a barge, but you explained.

I think everyone is running out of pictures - could this one be the omega 🤔 If you know the alpha one can find the omega

Review of the the hints
Looks kind of Mediterranean to me?
- Yes
- Capri is too far North
Hint:
If you know the alpha one can find the omega
-
LINK: The Alpha It is very close where the game began
" the alpha " - Much closer... But not Sicily
Hint:
Anybody know where Daenerys and Khal Drogo’s wedding took place!
- Season 1 of Game of Thrones... Evidently a major event. (I never watched it)
And it is not Greece, not Corsica, Not Salina
Hint: Salina is on the northside of Sicily... this island is south of Sicily and rhymes with a famous clown.

Croatia? I have a list of the islands from our 2019 sail, but none remind me of clowns. Brac or Harv? Or Čiovo rhyme with Bozo?

Gozo is correct The rock formation was (emphasize was) known as the Azure Window We saw it in April of 2016 A storm in April 2017 made it go away. The red dot in picture 2 is where we were standing in picture 1. So Sad! The game started 21 threads ago with the alpha being the entrance to Malta's harbor in Valletta. Will the Azure Window be the Omega. Your call Fran

I knew an NC person would jump in here.
Of course you're correct so you're up ndfan.
Yes Fred, here's a shot of Pilot Mountain taken from where you would find that plaque.

That is the easiest picture in a long time. This looks like the pier at Pirate's on Anegada in the BVI (Time of day: approaching sunset)

Zashin, mostly correct. I assume you meant Potter's. Good enough. And my buddy Sam whacking away at lobsters for that night's dinner!! I knew that was too easy. But since we land base on Anegada, virtually all of my vacation pics are from Anegada. You are up my friend.

I've got pictures of the same "whacking station" in different incarnations, so that was too easy; my last picture (pre-irma) shows somewhat smaller area for preparing the lobsters. I did mean Potter's... So where is this?

This is not in Norway or Sweden, and the element represented is "Fe" (iron)

Zanshin, you have lived or been about everywhere and I'm trying to figure out your "Fe" clue. All I come up with is the Masaba Range of Minnesota?

Fred - "Fe" is the official designation for "iron" (from the Latin "ferrum"). But I did wear a pair of Iron Rangers this morning on my walk, which I gather come from that mountain range and iron mines in Minnesota... But that mountain range is on the wrong continent, there aren't many big hills in this area... but there are some major government offices in this city! I'll wait a bit and then post another image.

I think I remember the country now but I'll wait as I haven't any photo to post. I will say I think somewhere in Europe.

It is in Europe and not den Haag. I didn't check for other pictures since I thought this would be easy to guess and go quickly. Here's a heavily redacted image of a building in this city, which also happens to be the nation's capital.

That must have taken a while to edit! It's Brussels and those would have been the flags of all the EU countries. On further thought though it could be NATO HQ. Either way it is Brussels. I recognised the first photo but thought that was Berlin so didn't guess once you' ruled out Germany.

Mike - it is indeed Brussels, the capital of Belgium and of the European Union and I had to click the "smart eraser" in Photoshop a number of times to try to hide the flags flying in front the EU Headquarters building. All yours!
