We returned to the island today. Got our tests and did all the right stuff. JB plane loading and unloading by row, middle seats empty. Then SXM Airport put us all on a bus!!!!! Totally disgusted. On our flight out 3 weeks ago we were allowed to walk if we wanted to. So much for negative test!

That's what I thought but was told it was an option to walk.....never had that option before. Not smart....guess it's at the discretion of the ground crew

We have 2 weeks in late February at our time share booked, but have not made air reservations. Not sure if we want to go through the hassle of constant changes to the requirements, getting the testing done in time, and pay the high flight costs from DTW. Probably a last minute decision for us.

We're booked for June 2021, Dutch and French side at this time. We live in beautiful Florida so we get good weather year round, but we love and miss SXM, especially Orient Bay!

Yes, I told you we were given a choice when we left the island. But when we returned there was no choice.

My husband and I are booked for end of December. Fingers crossed we are able to obtain the tests and results in time as we are flying in from the west coast of the US.

We go in November but did not make plans to fly down this year. Next November for sure. I hope.

Hoping to be there on the 22nd. But with cases spiking here, I'm anxious about things getting canceled (and just generally anxious). If anyone else is on that EWR/SXM flight that day, apologies in advance for my toddler. smile
