The below picture, if I was really good with photo editing, I would clone the end of his wing, so this would be a perfect picture, but I think it's a decent pic as is. I waited about half an hour for the bird to take wing, so I could get a picture of him flying. Carol Hill

I will have to look through the files for eagle shots - There have been some great ones posted We live next door to 2000 Acre State Park that has the largest eagle roost on the east coast. We love watching them hunt our pond. One of our favorite places to visit in FL and where we honeymooned almost 40 years ago. Just a quick FYI Captiva and Sanibel are two separate islands. But we stopped on the way back to Piraeus. The city quay can be quite congested. We were first on the boardwalk on our cat, by dark it was three boats deep. When we left the next day our anchor was fouled. Bummer, but we got it off.
