Not Veracruz. Close to a very popular capital city. We took a tour of this port city on a double decker bus and had to duck our heads to keep from being decapitated by the power lines.
Carol's not the only one that enjoys cruises, although we haven't been on as many as her, only 19.
The only place I can think of with a long pier is Progreso. If that's correct let Carol go with the next one I have to go to work and will be off until after noon.

Progreso is correct! We need to start a new thread.
We've never actually been to Progresso, as that is kind of a recent addition for a dock in the area and we haven't been on a cruise that went to that area for a long time, much preferring the Eastern Caribbean route. My understanding is that Progresso was just a made up area, that there was nothing there before and the government just created a dock and some shops there.
I don't have any pictures right now. Tom, if you're out there, how about you post one?? If Tom doesn't post a new pic by 11 AM EDT, anyone can go!!!
