Without looking at a map online, I would just guess Montserrat?

BEERMAN, considering where the fort sits on St Kitts I'd guess that island might be Eustatia (sp)?

Bom dia,
Unfortunately, I can't find another picture except the one above from another angle. My tee shirt from here says "The Emerald of the Atlantic"
Obrigado

So it is either Portugal, or Brazil (or Angola or Mozambique). But that looks like Brazil - but without resorting to Google I only know large cities.... but I have a friend from BĂ©lem so I'll guess there...

Brazil, yes and I thought my clue might be more revealing than just language.

Since there hasn't been much response and I don't like the doldrums, go ahead and use Google now.

Correct and did you use a clue I gave or a map? Regardless, Zanshin is up.

I kind-guessed a bit and googled island and Brazil... So I somewhat cheated. I'm not proud smile

What city allowed this building to be built?

For no particular reason, is this city in Mexico?

Neither guess is correct. I had thought that this one would be answered quickly, as the color and architecture of this house is rather unique. The next pictures were taken within a couple of yards of each other and just a couple of hundred feet away from this house. What city are we in?

Close - because this city name also begins with a "P"...

Based on that hint and the PC on the auto tag my next guess would be Panama City.

No, not Port-of-Spain. Let me add another picture. Same docks, but this time a panorama

I spent over a month waiting for a replacement rudder (which fell off at sea, a somewhat disheartening experience) from a berth with exactly that view one time several years ago, so that view is ingrained in my memory. As are discussions with the gent next to me at the marina, Mr. Morgan Freeman on his Shannon "Afrodesia".

Where is this?

Please do tell about Morgan Freeman. He seems like he would be an extremely interesting man!!

Trellis Bay?

He was unrecognizable, but very personable. We talked about single-handing sailboats and once I heard his distinctive voice I knew who he was! He goes by a pseudonym at the docks so that tourists don't recognize him immediately. At the time his wife was building a house on island and he disassociated himself from the project by spending time on his boat and reading. I spent time talking with him as a neighbor and watching the cricket world cup at the local bar on the only TV. I was impressed by his polite demeanor when people barged in on our table and demanded autographs - I suppose that is a price of fame! I also had a great experience a year or two later with Brian Johnson (of AC/DC fame) at the docks - I'm sure he enjoyed it more than I since I didn't recognize him until many beers and stories had passed!

No, not Trellis Bay - somewhat further south...
