You might want to check the new Orient Beach Hotel. We booked for 4 nights there before we get our apartment in March. They have our credit card on file but no charge until we arrive. We can cancel with no penalty until 72 hours ahead of arrival. Breakfast is included and you get free chairs at I believe 2 or 3 of the beach bars on Orient. It is walking distance to all of the wonderful restaurants in the village. There is also a grocery store, two bakeries, an Italian deli and other stores in the village. The manager of the hotel is Florence who used to work at Club Orient.

We also love the Grande Case Beach Club and if we were opting for a French side destination, it would definitely be my first choice for so many reasons. The accommodations are lovely, the staff is delightful and they were wonderful in the manner in which they refunded our money for a previously cancelled trip - no nonsense and no excuses and the refund was made to my cc the same day I cancelled. When we stayed there In the past it was hard to frag our sorry butts away even to go to dinner in GC proper because it’s so easy and comfortable being there.
Respectfully,
pat
