I think it is currently 18 hours. If I calculate correctly that's about 5:30 pm in the US Eastern time zone. Seems like there were many more people participating when that rule was made so maybe moderator TomB might consider reducing the Google rule time?
No reason to reduce the time rule - every thread dies a natural death. But I am jumping up-and-down like a kid waiting for his/her birthday to start so that I can post the answer...
Arne, if Somebody gets it before I return go ahead and make the award winner. I’m off-line for the next four hours or so. Next hint, he is Gregory of Nin but there is no throne In this game.
It's 18 hours from when the poster first posted. I need to think a minute about what happens when the poster and the reader are on different time zones. I don't think it should matter though... Thinking about it.
Beerman--I am almost certain you are correct, as to the correct time in this instance, 1:25 PM. I think Fred's clock has to be set incorrectly.
Fred--your clock should state the current time where YOU are. Are you on East Coast time? I don't think so. You need to look on the time zone settings and find the city which has the same time zone as you. For me, mine is New York City..
Carol, My dock now reads 1:45 pm EST. It says your post was 1 hour ago or 12:45 ish to me. Is this correct? What time do you have for jphart's first post on the statue?
East Coast time is Eastern DAYLIGHT time right now. Are you on Eastern Standard time? As I'm typing this post, the time is 2:24 PM Eastern Daylight time.
On a technically, Sleepychef got it with St. Peters. This is the Court of the Pine Cone in Vatican City at the entrance to St. Peter's. The statue was cast in the 1st-2nd century. Sleepychef, you're up!
Even though I've never been to that location there are a lot of clues - from the cloud base height and topography to the big parking garages and tour bus station. Right-Hand traffic and pickups on the parking preclude Europe. So I'm going to take a big guess at Florida and randomly choose Universal Studios...
I think not although he is close. I know where it is but since I worked for that company over 22 years and went into the area more times than I care to count I'll let someone else guess.

Ok Fred, I'll try this again. By the way, sleepychef's photo it Downtown Disney, now known as Disney Springs and was take from the balloon attraction. The long rectagular building in the center distance is Team Disney, the FL headquarters.
If this picture works it might be pretty easy.
