We haven't been to Neyland Stadium, but partied with the Vol Navy in a land battle at the state line a few years ago!! They wooped us...but we keep in touch with the Vols we tailgated with, great people!!
Neyland Stadium is a lot of fun and once you go, the song Rocky Top will be running in a loop in your head for a while.
We tried to get on the boats, but didn't have any luck. It is quite a sight, all the boats rafted to the dock in the shadow of the stadium. The Vol Navy is quite an organized group. We still somehow managed to enjoy ourselves though!
Ellen, I went to Neyland several years ago to watch my beloved Irish lose to the Vols. No doubt the loudest stadium I have ever been in. It took days to get that dang song out of my head.
Pure guess on my part due to good clues and SEC history. No google search, I swear. As a Gator, haven’t been in that enemy territory.
Florida v Georgia game brings some boat traffic, but not as big as Knoxville. I bought a boat a few years ago just to take it to the Worlds Largest Cocktail Party.
Yes it is, great talent there. Caffeine Carl is my wife’s “cousin”
Winner! (I purposely left the license plate in the photo)
Green Parrot is across the street from Mile Marker Zero. Our SIL lived in a house a half block down on Southard St. The live music would keep us up 'til late at night during our visits
Funny, we were just talking about Florence with our friends this weekend!! Walking the Arno River and crossing the bridges was a relaxing highlight, but the nighttime view from our room was always nice to come home to!
hint..I was running the same road as Foooorest,,,Fooorest Guuuump nearing the end of his journey. I see a lot of pics on the web of Forrest but don't know about copyright issues posting one.....
It was here that we experienced perhaps the most beautiful sunrise and sunset that we've ever seen...per the "Tom Rule" google away in a few minutes...
Yep, Monument Valley in the Navajo Nation! We stayed at The View hotel run by the Navajo and highly highly recommend it. The last 2 pics were from our balcony. "Probed" ugh...good luck with that and you are next up to post!
