The 'official' language of the area is visible in the photo if you zoom in on the right bit. It's a tough one this but I just like the photo of my boat in a great location so wanted to use it.
Close but wrong French island group. I'll settle for the island group because unless you've been there, or read my wife's blog which contains the photo, I don't think anyone will get the name.
Very close now so I declare BEERMAN the winner. It is actually the Manihi Pearl Resort on Manihi in the Tuamoto Archipelago but I don't think anyone would get it unless they've actually been there. Also, it is made harder by the fact it has been closed since 2012. I didn't know that when posting the photo.
If you do want a really get away from it all, do nothing other than laze and, snorkel and dive then I thoroughly recommend the Tuamoto's. We also went to Fakarava which is an incredible place for divers, providing you like sharks!
JP is correct! Driving the Ring Road is certainly a highlight of all of our travels, we want to go back! If you can guess the name of these falls the next time I see you beers are on me!!!
I am going to say Toronto. My cousin was married on the island across from it and that as the view I am sure. Some where I have a neat shot and sunset...
So is Toronto right?
“Every time I open a bottle of wine, it is an amazing trip somewhere!” José Andrés
TomB, nope! But here’s CCN Toronto, the referenced island beyond, and the city airport. We Went up first, sailed around second, and flew out of last Sleepy chef is right, and YES we did both of those too. View down at an important historical sight, for extra credit.
Thingvellir National Park, however we didn't venture into that specific spot in your pic. It's a beautiful area in Iceland. Here's one looking towards where your pic was taken I believe...
