I think the front can handle about 6-8 cars? Small ones? We had no issues squeezing in.

We rarely are able to find parking directly adjacent to Driftwood during cocktail hour and have been known to leave our car in either of the carparks close by and walk over to Driftwood but that said, it's usually not much of a problem to park there when we go to Tortuga for breakfast. I'm thinking it really depends on the time of day.......

Yes, Wanda told me. John from BBB was John from SSBB&G. Some kind of situation went on there. Neil was gone and John was thrown off island for something. Then that family took over BBB. The beach fire ball, kiddies and all that stuff happened then.

leems was asking about parking at Driftwood post Irma. As with Pat, we have almost never been able to find parking right there, but I am loathe to park in a really tight spot, for fear of getting parked in. Post Irma, PERHAPS since there are less tourists on island it might be easier to nab a parking spot there. We didn't try in June..

I totally agree. It is definitely not the place it used to be. It really started going downhill about 6 years ago. I forget when the guy from PA (John?) took over but he was the first to start running it into the ground and I think that was well longer than 6 years ago. Regardless, it is nothing at all like it used to be. Yes it was way longer than 6 years ago when John was there. He's the one that changed the name to SSBB & G. Didn't he then go do BBB? Then left island? I think I remember reading that he left because he owed a lot of taxes to the government. When he left, that is when the name was changed to Sunset Bar and Grill from the Sunset Beach Bar.

Perhaps I am mistaken but I thought it was Bert and Jill who took over BBB and reopened it after after Neil left.
