Planning my itinerary for July 2-13. Wife and daughter love beaches, drinking and floating around on noodles more than snorkeling lol. Would love some feedback on best overnight stops that have great swimming and/or beaches. I.e. sandy bottom clear water, float around. We've been to BVI several times aboard charter but not bareboat so we get to choose this time.
Places I know of:
White Bay (probably moor overnight in GH though right?) Anegada - moor overnight and explore island
What are other good options for overnight? Sandy Cay and Split aren't ideal for overnight or are there white mooring balls there? Thanks in advance Jeff

White Bay on Guana Island. We liked it so much that we stayed for a second night there

Cane Garden Bay, Cooper Island, White Bay, Norman Island, Savannah Bay and of course the beautiful beaches of Anegada.

Suggest you get one of the Cruising Guides. it will help your planing process immensely. We have the latest but not updated post irma wanted to check with those who've gone since; trust me i've spent dozens of hours of research! I hate to ask dumb questions too. Marina Cay has mooring balls and beaches. Now that you bring it up, it's hard to think of places that have both. Right on. Been to MC once before but not overnight. It was on my potential list but seems a lot of folks enjoy. White Bay on Guana Island. We liked it so much that we stayed for a second night there Awesome thanks for the tip. Will research Cane Garden Bay, Cooper Island, White Bay, Norman Island, Savannah Bay and of course the beautiful beaches of Anegada. That's good to know I couldn't really find any picturesque beaches in my searches on GBG and Cooper. Will chk out Savannah Bay. Anegada is on our list! Thanks all!

Savannah Bay does not have mooring buoys as I recall and might be off limits for charter boats, as well as White Bay on JVD. I heard Cane Garden Bay has a lot of construction work going on, so we avoided it this time. Ah good to know.

For anyone wanting to visit, I don't really think the CGB construction would keep you from enjoying the anchorage or beach. The only downside is you have to walk on the road to get from the dinghy dock to the beach. You used to be able to cut thru Quito's but it's closed for construction. Not really much construction taking place on the beach after Quito's. Rhymers, Paradise Club, Myett's, and Glenn's place open on beach for food and drinks. Columbus Sunset open for drinks and provisions.

You could cut through at Quito’s 3 days ago. The beach in front is where the jet skis blast off from! G
