The Eagle Tours cat is currently scheduled for an 11AM departure from SXM and an 11PM departure from St. Barts (times may change depending on the final announced time of the concert). One negative is that the approximate transit time is 2 hours each way. I also called Great Bay Express today and they said that they currently do not have any plans for a special ferry for the concert.

Contact Voyager and see if they will add a trip.

Or, pool your $ with others and take Yannis taxi service
Water Taxi Service St Maarten
Taxi boat (one way before 6pm): 1,200€*
Taxi boat (one way after 6pm): 1,400€*

You could also see what the boat out of Anguilla could do. I know I've used them, as has your Mom.

Uncertain how they fared in Irma though.

Time confirmed as 9PM. If you're on FB you can find the official announcement of the "Concert de Solidarité" on the Collectivité's FB page:

An update: Great Bay Ferry has a 5:00pm ferry going over but not returning until the next day. They state the issue is having someone after 5:00pm for immigration. Voyager out of Marigot has ferries going over after 5:00 but no return until next day. I have spoken with Aqua Mania and they said the Edge is not going and they don’t have any cats going. As previously stated. We can’t make the Eagle. And Scoobi Too said they won’t be going. Officially giving up!! Was really hoping one of the ferries would be running a special trip.

Thanks - yes I heard from them. I need a much later crossing. That’s my issue. I asked if they could just bring us back and due to immigration they couldn’t do one ways.

Is the immigration issue on St Barts? Or SXM?

I know many times Anguilla (granted it's a whole other place) have opened up and accommodated late arrivals. Of course I believe there's a bit of a "fee"....i.e if you take a private boat over for dinner.

Don't any of your famous friends have a couch you could sleep on in St Barts for the night? Or maybe the yacht Oprah or Ellen will be on? lol

Don’t laugh but my husband was just offered a house on St jean Beach if we wanted to stay there. A customer of ours owns a place!!!! Just becoming too much hustle and bustle!!

There aren't many villas on St Jean, so that would be a nice treat. If you can get to SBH, then stay over, and take the Voyager ferry back the next day.

And another... Upload speeds on St Barth aren't that great these days, so it can be a bit of a struggle for the friend who is uploading these.
