Quito's fb page posted yesterday that the inside is completely destroyed. It will be a complete rebuild.

nobscusset said: what the people on Tortola need right now is heavy equipment and construction workers to rebuild. I am a carpenter from New York and would throw my hat into the ring if I knew which hat to throw it into. Don't know what to do help out. Maybe give money. Came across these donation sites, have these or any others already been posted on TTOL? https://hello.pledgeling.com/widgets/donate/f4fe0a65390299b0eae14f838a79a64f#amountshttp://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-...m_campaign=irma

I still have not heard a overall damage report on Sopers or any decent pictures. Any updates from there? I would also like to hear more about Marina Key. G

Both locations sustained catastrophic damage. The Red Box & Fuel Dock on Marina Cay are completely gone. I don't have any of the West End photos on this computer - but have seen them on the Facebook BVI Hurricane Irma Page and they are terrible. While I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I figured you'd want to see these photos. The most important thing is that the employees have been accounted for and are safe. Paul Mason, manager of Marina Cay took these photos - except for the first one of the 'before' status of the Red Box. I'km including a link to the Pusser's Hurricane Irma Disaster Relief Fund - for those of you who are able to donate. Disaster Irma Hurricane Relief Fund

That's worse than I expected. Still it could be rebuilt quickly if the money and the will is there. I suspect however that many don't have insurance. It just gets sadder each day. So much in the BVI I wanted to share with my grandkids. I still have hopes things will come back faster than we think at the moment. Still no good overall pictures of West End. Anyone found anything online? Can't get over the Pussers webcam showing at least 4 boats sitting at anchor with no hurricane prep hours before the storm hit.

I've seen some pictures of West including from the bathrooms to the market. Have you seen those? Take a look at this album - there are some towards the end. https://www.smugmug.com/gallery/n-k4smBk/
