Just booked out March 2018 flights. 796 RT from DTW on United. You East Coasters are SO lucky!

You are 100% correct. My benchmark used to be $500-$600, now it is pretty much anything in the $800 range.

Chicago to SXM in March 18 is currently over $900. Crazy prices. I'll just have to keep watching.
