I've said the same as George for years. Having done a delivery on a Switch 51 with exposed help in extreme weather it was miserable.

I found them to be hilarious and entertaining - some wicked rum philosophy <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" /> - some interesting seamanship decisions - some of the STT observations really cracked me up - the dinghy trip to the Bitter End to and from dinner is not to be missed - great drone footage when included.

We chartered an Open 40 last fall. There are twin helms, and each has very high sides, so actually quite protected for BVI conditions. Ours had small biminis over each helm, so that helped with the sun, definitely need the biminis.
