I've been watching flights since they became available for our November/December dates, and could never get a return flight that didn't involve two stops and an overnight. Finally today, I was able to book our usual flights from New Bern, NC through Charlotte. The price was actually a little less than we paid last year. We're only staying two weeks this year, and will be banking our week 49; this will be my first experience with banking a week.

Good for you. It always puts my mind at ease once the tickets are purchased.

Good for you, Georgia. We're still trying to decide about a fall trip but with the changes in AA and JB being so slow in posting their dates, I've still got plenty of time to decide. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

We booked this week as well, planned on only booking for two weeks this year but....at this time we booked again for three but that may change if we feel that we can not work from island that first week. How bad can be working from island be? Day in a wifi zone, evenings in warmth and great places to eat. Hope we can make it work, working. Cheers!
I prefer the Isle seat

If anyone can make it work, working, you and MJ can! And we won't be there to distract you. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Todd, you are the one that got me to buy a Skyroam for a Mexico trip, and it worked well. Does it work in SXM, I had one person say no, and another say yes, but they both worked for Skyroam.
Also, Georgia, glad you got that trip booked. What's with all the overnight trips through Charlotte these days.

I believe MJ said that their Skyroam didn't work in SXM, but I can't swear to that. I'm sure Todd will see this and respond.
As far as the overnights through CLT, I have no clue! We used to drive the 4 1/2 hours to CLT to avoid a connection, but have flown from New Bern the past two years, as the airport is only half an hour from us. If all we can get is an overnight in the future, hubby is going to have to get over hating that drive!

Always nice to get that out of the way. I've booked another trip but it won't be for a while.
