Are restaurants and stores open or closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

A lot of places are closed for Good Friday and Easter. Mostly the French side. I'd check ahead before making plans to go to your favorite restaurant, food market and pharmacy!!

I believe a lot are also closed on Easter Monday. Not sure if it's on just the French side, or both.

Thank you for the replies. I spoke to the hotel we are staying at, they said Super U at Hope Estate is open on Good Friday, shortened hours. The restaurants in Grand Case are open on Easter Sunday except for those that normally close on Sundays.
