We had a great evening yesterday. We met up with dear friends at BarCode. It's a casual place near the Med School. We began with Brie Fritters served with and apple jalapeno sauce. We absolutely love these!! Entrées were Fish and Chips, a huge Cheeseburger with sautéed onions with really good crispy fries, and General Tso's Chicken (sorry forget to take a picture of that. We all loved our meals. Our server, Novak, was absolutely great. Such a nice guy. There was also a singer who entertained us. She has a wonderful, smoky voice. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The weather has been warmer than usual. Upper 80s and very humid but it's been quite windy so it's not too uncomfortable.

Sounds good! Last time we were there, we didn't have a great experience, but had always enjoyed it before. Will need to give it another try.

We had our final lunch at Barcode in January before returning the rental and flying home and it was easily the most disappointing meal. Maybe we were spoiled by the French side but the burger with shrimp was very over cooked and general tso was way too sweet and dry chicken.

Your fries look much nicer, we might have had a really bad day for them.

A fried shrimp on top of the burger, burger itself was beef.

OK, that doesn't even sound good to me, regardless. Of course, people put all kinds of stuff on burgers these days.

Good looking burger but that other one in another post is questionable.
