Does anyone know the hours for breakfast here? I'm considering taking the crew on the way to the airport on our departure day, since we don't leave until 2:52pm. smile I Googled the question, but could not find breakfast hours specifically.

To be clear, are we talking St. Maarten Yacht Club (SMYC) or Simpson Bay Yacht Club, which I believe is just rental units? If it is SMYC, Whale Tail is correct on the time.

Don't advise leaving luggage in car while having breakfast.

Good advice from Scuba but I will say that the St. Maarten Yacht Club's parking is fairly isolated and it is easy to sit at a table where you can keep an eye on the car.

Yacht club is the only place I will leave stuff in the car. Breakfast stops at 11. then lunch.

Thanks everyone. Yes, I was referring to SMYC. Thanks for correcting me. I thought maybe it would be fun and unique to dine here to pass the time away between check-out at La Plage and going to the airport/dropping the cars off. Check-out is at 10am and our flight doesn't leave until 2:52pm. We will have 3 cars between the 10 of us. We plan on eating at Tortuga at least once or twice over the week, so I am looking for something different. Thanks again! :-)

It is a very nice setting but getting 3 cars in their lot at once could be a challenge. Good luck on whatever direction you decide on.

As a backup to the parking thing. I'd park in the lot by Captain Dee's BBQ place. It's public, only down the block we've walked it, but don't leave the luggage! Maybe you can drop the luggage off at your rental place before breakfast???

This sounds like it might be more trouble than it's worth. I think a plan B where we can watch the luggage sounds like a good idea (or another plan A).

Depending on La Plage occupancy and if someone is checking into the room you are leaving, you may be able to get a late checkout

It doesn't hurt to be an owner who is very friendly with all front desk personnel

I am usually able to get a parking spot within view when dining at Reveil Matin--either in front of the restaurant or across the street. I always eat outside so have a good view of cars. And, at least for me, I much prefer RM's breakfasts to those at the yacht club.

Thanks so much. I will add RM to the list!

Leave your bags with them at RI in their luggage room, go to breakfast where you want, then pick up bags before heading to the airport.

I prefer the Isle seat

I didn't realize they will hold your luggage. Thanks for letting me know. smile
