Hey all! I have a tall order here.

I’ve not been here in 6 years and have a few guests with me, they are only here for a week. I’d like to give them the ultimate day experience. We really wanted to go hiking to see monkeys, but my husband hurt his foot yesterday so unfortunately that is out.
My friend gets sea sick. She has Dramamine but a day trip on a boat May be too much. Her husband is deathly afraid of sharks and hesitant to spend too much time in the ocean.

I need an idea for them to see as much as possible today with that in mind.

Any ideas to get the most out of the day with this challenge?
*we do have a car rental

Perhaps Pinel if you want to be in the water. A small boat ride of about 5 minutes to get there. Hikers can walk across the island and your husband would be just a few steps from the water in a shaded chair. They will bring you everything you need right to your chair. Did it yesterday. Had a decent pizza for lunch and just hung out. Was not overly crowded yesterday. Perhaps a bit more today with locals but there is plenty of room. Enjoy whatever you do.

I would say lunch at Anse Marcel Beach Club but since it's Sunday, I don't know if you could get in unless you make a reservation and they may be sold out already.

Maybe try that floating bar/restaurant off the beach from Grand Case Beach club, or you could get the boat from Grand Case pier. Just a short boat ride out. I can't remember the name...

update- Balaou Floating Restaurant

Instead of Sunset Beach Bar I'd suggest the other end of that beach at Tortuga. Out of the crowds, sit in covered area seems like planes are coming right at you before they veer to land. Good food reasonable prices. We had breakfast there several times around 9:30 to watch Jet Blue come in from NY around 10 am. Pancakes bacon coffee $10. two eggs, sausage, bacon, toast home fries , juice $18.

We did the Emilios chair lift and zip line for the first time in February. Incredible 360 degree Vistas and cooler temps were the highlights, got some great pics from the many observation decks.
