The name is a little deceiving because it is a breakfast and sandwich shop. I noticed a lack of fancy pastries like there was last March so I asked the French manager about that. He said they removed pastries that weren't selling alot. The pastry chef is now over at Jax's steak house but he provides the pastries for The Deli. He told us that The Deli, Jax's, Mr Chow and Roma are all owned by the same 2 people and that they are planning a new restaurant in Simpson Bay around the Avantika area. I just had 2 eggs and hash browns toast and a fruit bowl while my wife had ham and cheese quiche with a salad with French dressing with a fruit bowl. The hash browns were not what I expected but were very good.
I always like food pictures in the morning. The girl that serves you at the counter is Canadian from just north of Toronto, Vaughan Ontario . They make good sandwiches, which they wrap up and I take to eat on the flight home.
