After all the great reviews here over the years, we decided to give Izi another try last night. It has been at least five years since our last time there. Well, to our very happy surprise, we both thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there. The food was GREAT, service attentive, and overall reasonably priced. I ordered a veal dish, my wife had a salmon pasta. Both far exceeded our expectations. Only thing we can think of that our experience years ago may have been an off night. Also, another surprise yesterday was lunch at Sun Beach Clubber on Orient. For years we have spent our days right nearby, but never tried it. Yesterday we spent all day there, and had one of the best lunches I have ever eaten!!! I had the brochettes, and my wife had the Tuna. Both were FANTASTIC!!!! This place gets little to no attention here on TTOL...but hope you guys will try it next time...it is worth every penny!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you enjoyed Izi. It seems to be hot or cold with many people. Personally, I really enjoy Izi but I stick with just a straight pasta dish.

Glad you enjoy Sun Beach also.

Totally agree with you about Sun Beach Clubber. We had an excellent lunch - some kind of shrimp dish in a garlic cream sauce - not a morsel was left on our plates. And the dessert was out of sight! Can't say enough good things about this place - attentive but not intrusive wait staff, very accommodating, did a really nice job decorating the place. We also highly recommend a day spent here.

Izi is a treat for me because they have gluten free pasta AND they know how to cook it.

So glad to hear this! Hubby and I have always enjoyed IZI and we make it a routine stop on each visit. I never paid much attention to gluten-free menus before, but I've had to go gluten-free 6 months ago, so it's wonderful to know that IZI has good gf pasta. I'll have to try that when we go this May/June. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
